Thank you to the hundreds who got ‘moving’ at the Falling into Motion community event on Saturday, November 2, at the Hoffman Estates Village Hall, hosted by Public Works and Hoffman in Motion project team!
We hope you had fun celebrating Halloween while discovering everything about Public Works and contributing to the future of transportation in Hoffman Estates!
Touch-a-Truck Extravaganza: Attendees explored and interacted with Public Works staff, vehicles, equipment, and more.
Grapple Truck Pumpkin Drop & Composting Fun: Guests brought their pumpkins (decorations removed) for a smashing composting activity.
Plow Rides: Many enjoyed a ride on a real snowplow!
Professional Family Photos: Friends and families snapped photos at our festive photo booth.
Interactive Activities: Participants shared ideas on enhancing transportation in Hoffman Estates—your voices made a difference!
Snacks & Giveaways: Everyone enjoyed refreshments and cool swag!

Over 300 people joined us at South Ridge Park (1450 Freeman Rd) from 6-8 pm on Thursday, July 11th for a FREE family-friendly event focused on making Hoffman Estates a place where getting around is easy, safe, and convenient! Thanks for stopping over and sharing your thoughts!
